Competition Day Schedule
◾️July 1 (Wed) & 4 (Sat) Online athlete meeting: 20:00–21:00
 Please adjust your schedule to attend at least one day.
 Organizer/staff introduction, competition documents, venue/area explanation, notes, Q&A

◾️July 11–16 Official pre-competition training: 7:30–10:30
 ・Training with safety staff ¥10,000
 ・Buddy training ¥6,000
 ※Reservation required in advance, limited to 10 people per day

◾️July 17 Off training: 7:30–13:00
 Declaration by 15:00 the day before, training in the same environment as competition day
 Recommended for first-time competitors to get used to the Okinawa environment
 ¥15,000–¥18,000 (¥18,000 if 14 or fewer participants, ¥15,000 if 15 or more)
 ※Reservation required in advance

◾️July 17 17:00–18:00 Opening Ceremony (Location: True North Okinawa)
 Greeting, staff introduction, distribution of goods, group photo, light meal (flowing mozuku somen!?)

Competition Day Schedule

※Declaration: until 15:00 the day before
※Start order announcement: scheduled at 16:00 the day before (official website, Instagram)
※Groups of approximately 5 athletes arranged by declared depth (deepest first)

Competition Environment

Sea conditions:Max depth 50m | Air temperature 27–31°C | Water temperature 26–27°C | Thermocline 25–30m | Temperature difference 1–3°C
Boat equipment:Counter ballast available | Toilet available | Fish finder available
Competition method:The boat will be fixed to a buoy for conducting the competition
Notes during competition
The first athlete after finishing and the last athlete before starting may need to wait on the boat for over one hour
In mid-July, Okinawa has strong sunlight and temperatures rise to around 28°C
In addition to preventing heatstroke, dehydration can reduce performance and increase the risk of LMC, BO, and decompression sickness, so please ensure proper hydration

About start order and declarations

In this competition, the start order will generally be determined based on the declared depth
Please submit via the declaration form by the deadline [15:00 the day before]
For safety reasons, declared depth is limited to your best result within the past 3 months +3m
Please also include the name of your instructor or shop and their contact details

Required Documents

    • Required for all participants regardless of official records  
    • If hospital name, doctor name, phone number, etc. are incomplete, it cannot be accepted  
    • The certificate is valid for one year. If it expires during the competition period, it will not be accepted  
    • If a doctor determines participation is not possible, you cannot participate  
      In such cases, cancellation fees will still apply according to the competition rules

    • This is an official report including your personal best and recent BO, so please be sure to submit it

    • Please provide documents showing your nationality or registered domicile  
      Example: Passport, resident record with domicile, etc.
  5. Document submission deadline and lanyard check
    • Please submit documents and complete the lanyard check at the competition office by 18:00 the day before your competition day

The competition may be partially or entirely canceled due to weather, sea conditions, equipment issues, or accidents

  • When thunderstorms or strong winds make it unsafe to conduct the competition  
  • When currents prevent the guideline rope from being maintained vertically
  • When sea conditions make it unsafe for athletes or staff to wait at the surface  
  • When equipment is seriously damaged or malfunctions during use  
  • When safety equipment such as CBS or emergency oxygen cannot function properly in emergencies  
  • When emergency transport occurs due to serious illness, injury, BO or LMC, or when the doctor or safety officer becomes unavailable  
  • When the doctor or safety officer cannot continue due to issues  
  • When an athlete or staff member is swept away and missing

About participation after a blackout

If a blackout occurs, according to AIDA official rules, participation in the next day’s competition may be prohibited or suspension from participation for the remainder of the competition may be imposed

About Protests

If there is an objection to the competition result, a protest may be submitted to the judge within 15 minutes after the result announcement
A fee of ¥5,000 is required for the protest. This will be refunded if the protest is accepted

About viewing official camera footage

Videos taken by official cameras are used as judging materials
Athletes cannot view them individually unless a protest is submitted

Prohibited Actions

If any of the following prohibited actions are violated, measures such as disqualification or suspension may be taken
  • Failure to follow competition rules  
  • Failure to follow instructions from judges, organizers, or staff  
  • Interfering with other competitors  
  • Disrupting the operation of the competition or compromising safety  
  • Violating the privacy of other participants  
  • Causing mental or physical harm to other participants  
  • Interfering with others’ participation in tours, schools, or purchases  
  • Soliciting others for MLM, religion, or product sales  
  • Using the shop name without permission for events or group activities

Cancellation Policy / Refund

■Cancellation Fee
 ・April 1 – May 15: 50% ・After May 16: 80%
■Refund in Case of Cancellation
 If the competition is canceled due to sea conditions, etc.: 20% of the entry fee will be refunded
